About the Program:
Resurrection Parish, St. Thomas More site is happy to announce the Two’s Together Program, a joyful ministry designed to nurture faith, connection, and early learning in a loving, Christian environment.
During this weekly class, 2-year-olds and their caregivers will share stories, pray, and craft together. Pre-K concepts of letters and numbers will be introduced in a very relaxed environment. Throughout this class, not only can you build lasting friendships within our church family, but you can also find support and encouragement from fellow caregivers.
Whether you’re new to the parish or a lifelong member, Two’s Together is a beautiful way to be part of our church community while planting seeds of faith in your little one. Grow with us in faith and friendship!
We are thrilled to welcome Ally Chovan as the new teacher for our Two’s Together program at Resurrection Parish! A proud STM graduate from 2003, Ally remained a part of our community in many ways, including serving as a cantor for several years. Even though it’s been a few years since she’s sung behind the microphone, her heart has never left the parish she calls home.
Ally has spent the last few years growing her beautiful family and is now the proud mother of three wonderful daughters. Before stepping into the full-time role of mommy, she taught K-5 Autistic Support, where she nurtured young minds with patience, love, and joy. Now, she is excited to dust off those teaching skills and share God’s love with His littlest learners. Ally brings warmth, enthusiasm, and a deep love for her faith to everything she does. She can’t wait to journey with your little ones as they begin their first steps in faith and friendship here at St. Thomas More.
Karina Williams
Karina Williams is a homemaker with 4 children. She will be assisting Ally Chovan with the Two’s Together program this year. She found this program when her first child was 2 and has returned every year since so that her little ones could experience the loving, Catholic environment that is provided here at Resurrection Parish. She helped with the program 2 years ago and is very grateful to be back.
A Tribute to Our Beloved Teacher and Faithful Servant
There are some people whose presence leaves a lasting mark – not just on a classroom, but on an entire church family. And for us, that person is Ms. Carolyn Sopher – Martin.
She didn’t just start the Two’s Together program – we believe that God called her to it. What began as a simple idea became a ministry full of life, love, laughter, and learning because of her tireless devotion and boundless heart. She poured her soul into every lesson, every child, every prayer, and every moment. She built more than a program – she built a sacred space where the youngest among us felt the love of Christ, often before they could even speak His name.
To know her is to know kindness. To be in her presence is to feel what it means to be seen, cherished, and supported. She radiates love and joy. She walks in faith with humility and grace. She has taught generations – children, parents, and fellow volunteers alike – what it means to live the way God calls us to live: generously, compassionately, and joyfully.
Though no one could ever truly replace her, we rejoice that her legacy will live on in the foundation she’s laid. Her fingerprints are on every craft, every prayer circle, and every giggle that echoes through our halls. And while she steps back from the Two’s Together program, we’re grateful that she’ll still grace us with guest appearances – each one sure to feel like a blessing.
Thank you, Ms. Carolyn, for being the heart of this ministry and this church. Your love has changed lives. Your faith has inspired us. And your example will guide us for years to come. You are irreplaceable and you are deeply, deeply loved.
