SummerFest and FletcherFest!! 

Dear Volunteers,

 As we recently said goodbye to Lent and still are enjoying the Easter Season, we now are getting ready to welcome Resurrection Parish’s SummerFest 2025!! The fun begins on Monday, June 16 and continues through Saturday, June 21. For this Parish fundraiser, the Diocese of Pittsburgh and Fr. Mike require clearances and total compliancy for all volunteers. To assist anyone in need of clearances, or to update them, the Safe Environment staff will be offering a number of workshops beginning this week. They will be held on:

• Wednesday, May 7 in the Reardon Room at St. John Capistran at 10:00 a.m.  
• Thursday, May 15 in the Parish Library/Rooney Room at St. Thomas More at 10:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m. 
• Wednesday, May 21 in the Reardon Room at St. John Capistran at 10:00 a.m.  
• Wednesday, May 21 in the Parish Library/Rooney Room at St. Thomas More at 6:00 p.m. 
• Wednesday, June 4 in the Reardon Room at St. John Capistran at 10:00 a.m. 
• Wednesday, June 4 in the Parish Library/Rooney Room at St. Thomas More at 6:00 p.m.

Prior to signing up to volunteer at Summerfest, it is imperative that you please check with the Safe Environment staff to make sure that your clearances are current and that your account is in ACTIVE status. The deadline to be totally compliant for SummerFest is Wednesday, June 11 at noon or sooner. 

Susie Levitt, Safe Environment Coordinator, and Marlene Kish, Safe Environment Volunteer, will be on hand at the workshops to give you the necessary paperwork and assistance to guide you on the clearance process. Sarah Wildenhain, Assistant Safe Environment Coordinator, is available by appointment to help you if you want an individual meeting.
